It’s officially Christmastime, and in celebration I’ve found this perfectly cranberry red strapless dress from Laundry. The color is divine and the flirty shape makes me think of twirling!

 

But as usual, love the dress and not so fond of the shoes (ankle straps=evil!). I like these better…

 

Kate Hudson is one of those people who I could look at forever and never get tired of. She’s sooooooo pretty, all the time, even when she gained forty pounds when she was pregnant – so unfair! Anyway, Ms. Hudson is filming a movie called “Bachelor Number Two” here in Boston, and she was captured between takes in this lovely red evening gown…and rubber slippers (flip flops, for those of you who insist on it).

While I couldn’t find that exact dress anywhere, I did find a similar silhouette in this halter dress by Laundry at Neiman Marcus ($365). I love the flowy nature of the fabric and the sweetheart neckline. Although I’m not typically a big fan of red, the shape of this gown screams romantic, and I’m all about that.
