When we were in Puerto Rico last week, I kept seeing women wearing this striking shade of blue. They all looked cool and elegant and tanned — I found myself wanting to ask them for style tips, but my Spanish is limited to phrases like, “Hello. It’s cold!” and any response I get causes me to freeze up. So instead, I just admired them from afar. I did, however, notice that lots of them paired the color with bright coral tones, which is totally chic.
Now, I’m finding gorgeous cobalt blue pieces tucked into the nooks and crannies of my favorite shops and I’m in love with all of them! This seems like a color that would look good on pretty much everyone. It probably also helps if you’re an immaculate Puerto Rican woman, too — those ladies have style.

Royal blue. I love this color.
Just revisited an earlier blog and was tempted to buy a cute bunny, but I remember why I didn’t the first time: $27!
Think I’ll look for a royal blue dress instead.
Love,
Mom
Cobalt blue, royal blue – It’s definitely a beautiful color. And, you’re right, I think it would look great on just about everyone. The bright pink underneath that cobalt blue lace is really striking, and so clever.
PS~Where did this day go?
Blue is my favorite color, and this particular cobalt shade is gorgeous! Kendra Scott has some cobalt blue jewelry pieces in stock right now that are really pretty and tempting. I love the idea of pairing this color with coral or yellow.
I’m in love w/ cobalt blue! The dress I wore to my friend’s wedding in hawaii was that shade. Great color J!! xo
That blue is gorgeous! So vibrant!!
