Jodie Foster is someone I’ve admired all my life. Reactions to her speech at the Golden Globes were hugely varied, but I think what mattered most was the way she concluded: with the quote above. It resonated with me because I think that she was speaking for so many women in the world today. Who of us would be so brave as to say it this clearly and concisely in front of the world? Much respect and love to all the women who want these very same things.
I’ll be honest, I was more than a little confused during her speech. But she came off real and that I liked.
On a totally different note, what fonts did you use in that graphic? I love them combined like that!
The sans-serif is Futura; the cursive is Quickier (one of my new favorites!).

I was just describing hearing her speak that evening as pleasantly bewildering. She has a strong presence and is a powerful public speaker. If she struggled with that at all, she seemed to me to struggle with ease and composure. The ambiguity was amusing to me.

Thanks so much for bringing it to my attention as I would have otherwise completely missed it. The quote definitely taps into what many of us want for ourselves (myself included). I agree with Stephanie, the graphic would make a great print for your office.
