Hello all! I thoroughly apologize for being in hibernation for so long — life got crazy, and winter wasn’t inspiring much dress hunting. But don’t fear, Frock Files is still alive and kicking!
Even though it’s completely awful outside here in Boston, the weather hasn’t stopped me from shopping! If anything, I actually enjoy my indoor mall time even more. A few weeks ago, I found this pretty silk dress from Banana Republic for a cocktail party that my friend Erica was throwing. Sadly, I got sick and couldn’t attend, so I’m looking for a new excuse to wear this light-as-a-petal shift. (It’s $49 at BR, but I got it off the rack for $37 — down from $150!)

The economy might be cold, but it sure is heating up these sales! And if we’re all going to be frugal, at least we can be fashionable about it, right?
